Climate Positive Cities

The US Green Building Council & The Clinton Climate Initiative are working together on the Climate Positive Cities Initiative.

Why are these initiatives never possible when politicians are still in office?

    You’ve got to give Bill a lot of credit for his record of service after his 2nd term ended. He certainly made his fair share of mistakes in office but he’s shown a lot of passion for still fixing the world’s problems. Carter is another President that comes to mind who hasn’t stopped trying to improve the quality of life for other people even though he’s out of the White House.

    Curious to see what, if anything, W will do now that he’s out of the big chair.

    Clinton did virtually nothing while in office and although he worked with Gore he virtually shut Gore out of anything climate oriented. Although he’s doing something now its too late… the planet is heating up and virtually melting. Its hard to give him credit now since he was inept on climate issues while in office when he could have been a tremendous leader.
